Questions people actually ask.
Does it sweat all over my desk?
The pack sweats inside the sleeve, where the base layer sits between the cold and your desk. The desk stays dry and the keyboard stays a keyboard.
Is it hard when it's frozen?
It's best to freeze it flat, and then it will soften slightly once your hands are on it. The sleeve sits between it and your wrists, and the soft-touch top is the part you feel.
Can I use it without freezing it?
Yes. At room temperature it is a soft wrist rest. Cold, it is a much better one.
Do I need a freezer?
For the cold, yes. Both packs go in the freezer, one waiting while the other is under your wrists. Without one, CoolWrist is a soft wrist rest at room temperature.
Will it fit my keyboard?
It runs the width of a full-size keyboard. Smaller boards get some spare wrist rest on each side, which is not a problem.
What about my mouse hand?
CoolWrist is the keyboard size. A mouse version is coming later.
Is it safe to rest on something cold?
Use it the way you would any wrist rest. Keep the pack inside the sleeve rather than against bare skin, and give it a minute out of the freezer if it ever feels sharp instead of cool. Stop if your skin reddens or goes numb. Keep it away from children. If you have numbness, tingling, or a condition that makes cold a problem for your hands, ask a clinician first.

Water, propylene glycol, and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. We have no leak test to show you yet.

What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free when you order two or more. On a single order, the shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay. We ship to addresses in the continental United States.
Do I need an account to order?
No account to create. You pay on Stripe's checkout page, and Stripe emails your receipt the moment the payment goes through. That receipt is your order confirmation.
Where is my order?
When it ships, you get an email with tracking. Anything else about an order goes to chillout@coolwristrest.com. Put the receipt number in the email and we take it from there.
About the sweating.
A frozen pack sweats inside the sleeve, so the moisture stays there and your desk stays dry. If the sleeve feels damp at the end of a long day, that is it working.
